The role of building services and specifically the air delivery units is growing in appreciation among architects and interior designers- and is demonstrated within new suites at the luxurious Carden Park country hotel and spa.
The new guest accommodation represents Carden Park’s most luxurious to date.
The resort, set in 1000 acres of Cheshire countryside, wanted to reflect its natural setting in the décor of four ultra-luxury suites, balancing that with the ultimate in modern guest expectations.
We already have an established relationship with the hotel, having provided the ventilation grilles and diffusers for the £10m The Spa at Carden Park. We were therefore a logical choice to bring that same high level of quality, style and performance to the HVAC building services in the new suites.
Our slimline linear bar grille with flush bars and concealed fixing perfectly suited and complimented the high-end, discreet décor in the suites. Strategically located at high level in the bulkheads over the entrance doors, our air movement grilles deliver 50% free ventilation area. Guests are assured of a comfortable, fresh environment without draughts that subtly enhances the organic tones and natural finishes used in the rooms.
Britain’s largest installer of air conditioning Coolair was responsible for the design and installation of the services in this latest phase at Carden Park and turned to us to support in this latest upgrade. Coolair’s Northern Divisional Director Paul Evans explained:
“For cohesion and unity, Carden Park wanted the same visual throughout the schemes. Gilberts was therefore the obvious choice. It helps that we know from experience that whenever we need anything, Gilberts will be there to help.”
The HVAC visual of our linear slots and bars impacts from the moment of arrival at the prestige venue. The main reception features a marble wall. We designed a bespoke version of our linear slot to give the impression that the diffuser’s bars are floating in space, reflecting Carden Park’s desire to bring exceptional levels of style to the resort.
