KEEPING CHRISTMAS IN THE FAMILY

An engineering company that prides itself on its family ethos is demonstrating that this Christmas.

Gilberts (Blackpool), Britain’s leading independent air movement manufacturer, hosted a party for all its employees’ children, at Funtastic Play in St Annes.

To ensure all the youngsters who attended were suitably accommodated, Gilberts booked an exclusive room, with dedicated party hosts, and funded a Go Kart ride for every child, plus a return pass to the venue, as well as providing the traditional visit to Santa and his grotto.

“It wouldn’t be a Christmas party if they didn’t meet Santa too!” said Gilberts’ HR officer Jade Swain, “We are a family- run and family-orientated company; the children’s party is now a regular fixture on the company calendar, and heralds the lead into the festivities, which run until the last working day before Christmas, when the staff celebrations are held.”
